Eligibility

  • Initially for small and marginal farmers owning up to 2 hectares of land.
  • Expanded to include all farmer families, irrespective of landholdings.
  • 'Family' is defined as husband, wife, and minor children.

Exclusions

  • Institutional landholders.
  • Farmer families holding constitutional posts.
  • Serving or retired officers and employees of state/central government, public sector undertakings, and government autonomous bodies.
  • Professionals like doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants, and architects registered with professional bodies and practicing.
  • Income tax payers in the last assessment year.

Implementation

  • Implemented by the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
  • Funds are directly transferred to the bank accounts of beneficiaries through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode.

How to Online Verify UP Certificate

The e-district portal was launched under the Uttar Pradesh e-governance scheme. With this portal, you can verify income, caste, domicile, and other certificates made in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. You need the application number and certificate number for online verification.

  1. Scroll to the bottom section of this page and click on the "Verify Online" link.
  2. A new page will open on the Uttar Pradesh e-district portal, displaying the certificate verification button.
  3. Enter your application number and certificate number, then click the submit button.
  4. If your certificate is valid, the information will be displayed on your screen. If not, please contact the office where you obtained the certificate.

  3. Collect all required documents before applying online. If unsure about the non-refundable amount, check your fee receipt or contact your college/school. Submit your form to the concerned school/college within 3 days of completion. Aadhar Card is compulsory for the scholarship application 2023-24.

  3. Click on "New Registration", enter your full name and mobile number linked to Aadhaar, then complete OTP verification.
  4. Login using OTP verification with your mobile number.
  5. Enter and verify your Aadhaar card number. Personal information and options to update marital status, spouse details, work details, and mobile number will appear.
  6. Add information of other family members using their Aadhaar card number and OTP verification.
  7. Provide address details for verification.
  8. Submit the registration. A Family ID and application number will appear on the screen.
  9. Use the application number to check status information.

Note: Changes cannot be made after submission of the registration/application form.
