Scheme Launch Date
The Uttar Pradesh Unemployment Allowance Scheme was launched on March 20, 2012.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- The applicant's age should be between 21 and 35 years.
- The applicant must have passed at least the 12th grade.
- The applicant should not be engaged in any form of employment or self-employment.
- The applicant's family annual income should be within the specified limit (e.g., ₹2 lakh or as determined by the government).
Allowance Amount
The monthly allowance amount provided by the government to unemployed youth typically ranges between ₹1000 to ₹1500. However, this amount may be subject to change over time.

During the application process, the applicant must upload necessary documents including proof of identity, age, education, and residence.
